If you're lucky to go on a day when it's not foggy, the view is phenomenal and definitely a must-see when visiting San Francisco/North California.

The most recognizable icon in SF, with beautiful views of SF, Sausalito, and more from every vantage point. Have lots of people who walk, ride, drive across the bridge. Bridge is absolutely packed with tourists & locals on weekends

This landmark is what everyone thinks of when they think of the SF Bay Area. If you're coming to visit the bay area, you have to at least come by and see it. There are some great view of the bridge from Fort Mason or you can either walk or bike across the bridge for a relaxing day.

I really recommend biking across the bridge if you're going South to North. It's pretty crowded as you go, but having a bike once you get across allows you go up into the hills and see some incredible views of the bay. One of the can't miss tourist attractions in California for sure. If this is your only time in SF, you have to go!
