GoPlanit Reviews for The Getty Center

The collection is beautiful, though not super diverse (old and European, basically). The restaurant and cafes have really good food (especially the pasta and the scones). But go because the Getty Center is one of the most gorgeous places in the city, whether you're visiting for a couple of hours with out-of-town friends or hanging out solo for the day. And bring your creative/documentary arsenal: camera, sketchbook, notepad, etc!

the grounds and building are beautiful - open air, overlooking the downtown LA skyline.  Went more for the overall experience than just for the exhibits.  Jen loved everything about the Getty since she's an art history lover, I'm more into landmarks and sightseeing...
