Day 2 - Friday February 15, 2008

Arrived in Seattle today. So, of course we had to do the touristy thing and go up the Space Needle. It's quite a sight. But, for $16/per person... it's not at all cheap. The views are nice though. And, there are plenty of interactive things to do once you're up there. They have these screens that show you information about the various neighborhoods. This is definitely for the tourists. If it's your first time there, you may want to come see it. And, if you really want the whole touristy experience, go up. But, for most people, just coming over and taking pictures of the outside will be more than sufficient.
Day 3 - Saturday February 16, 2008
If you're hungryand in the Vancouver area, you should check out Shabu Sen. For around $13 (lunch)/ $22 (dinner) you get all you can eat sashimi, sushi, Japanese food, and korean BBQ. Just one thing to note: when you write down that you want one piece, they literally mean one piece. So, when you make that order for 1 piece of California Roll, it's just one piece. Not an entire roll. We didn't realize that until we saw our plate come with just one piece on there. A great experience nontheless.
Shabu Sen also has two locations to choose from. One is near Robson street and one is on Granvill street. We opted to try out the Granville street location.
Granville Island is a tiny artist community within the confines of Vancouver. Come here for the massiv Public Market where you can find all sorts of flowers, fruits, vegetables, meats, honeys, syrup, etc. I wish SF had one of these.
Here's a picture of a park on the island. Nice views of the city from here.
And here's the Cement Company's attempt at marketing themselves to all tourists who come by. It was a pretty neat contraption.
If you're going to Vancouver, you can't NOT go to Stanley Park. It's the number one place to go in Seattle for a reason. It's an awesome park and there are more than enough sights and attractions here.

Day 4 - Sunday February 17, 2008
We just couldn't get enough. Whether it's the flyuing fish... the delicious chocolate covered cherries... Plenty of tasty honey choices... Tiny donuts... Crumpets... Jam... Or, Piroshky's. This place was our favorite place in all of Seattle.
Here are just a few pictures to commemorate Pike's Place:
