Well, we just got in to San Francisco and I must say, the weather is beautiful. Everyone says that it rains a lot here and we're definitely not seeing it. The drive to the hotel was beautiful and went very fast. Almost no traffic to speak of. Then we got into the hotel and wow!

Annie's Cottage has got to be the best kept secret in San Francisco! It's nestled away behind a bunch of tall buildings, but once you get inside, you'd swear you were in a peaceful cottage in the lush South Carolinan countryside. There's great sunlight, it's quiet, and it's super affordable. I'd totally recommend anyone to stay at this place.

I walked over to Ghirardelli square right from the hotel and the place was mobbed ! There were more people than I thought ever existed. It was still relaxing though and I got to have some delicious Chocolate ice cream.

I met up with my little brother and his friend and we walked around for a bit. We walked along the wharf, saw some seals (although we heard them from what seemed like miles away), and went out to Alcatraz. It's definitely something I'd highly recommend to do.

Just go there... you'll be happy you did it (once).

It was great seeing Ben and we mostly just people watched, tried on funny hats, and walked around. Man, it's beautiful here!

Wooooowee, look at that beautiful stuff! I got to experience true "good" San Francisco sushi. Kyo-ya was great. Their staff was friendly and we left feeling just the right amount of full.

I saw Arcade Fire in concert!!! WOOOOOOO!!! They were A-MAZING!

I also got to park at Google and see how the machine works!!!

Got some coffee at Philz and boy did I need it. I'm wrecked after yesterday. What a long day. Today should be great too though!

I love this place! I've never had so much fun looking at trinkets. Since San Francisco is such a hub of Asian culture, I definitely feel like I got my fix in Chinatown.

I got a wok! Who buys a wok?!

Apparently I do. I also got some soap, a pig's foot, and a whole chicken... ok, so I was kidding about the chicken, but I really got the pig's foot! I contemplated getting a mannequin...

Revolution Cafe for afternoon snack

San Francisco has some great food. I stopped at the Revolution cafe for a quick sandwich made by some lovely Spanish speaking ladies. I also met up with some lady friends.

PS.. I'm going to the game tonight....

Have you ever seen more pumpkins than there are insects in the world? I have.

What a head trip. These people had enough pumpkins to feed half of North America. I don't even know how they transported it all.

Lucky we were able to mash some into pie on the spot!

If Virginia is for lovers, than San Francisco is for foodies. Tartine bakery was better than any guide book could describe. The line was also longer than anyone could've described...

I went to the Presidio and the Golden Gate bridge today. If you have to pick one thing to see, and it's a nice day, this has got to be it.

We rented some bikes and road around the Presidio and finally made it to the center of the bridge... phew, this place is SO beautiful.

One day, if I'm lucky, I'm moving here.

What a great trip. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
