Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall collects and displays many of Sun Yat Sen's books, articraft, and many signficant documents. This is the place to understand modern Chinese politics and the conflicts between China and Taiwan at the present time.

Next is the famous "National Taiwan Democracy Memorial Hall"

Just few years ago, this monumnet is not called National Taiwan Democracy Memorial Hall but called "The National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall". The rationale of changing the monument's name is due to political issues, and this name-changing issue is still hot arguement in Taiwan now. This monument is dedicated to former Republic of China President Chiang Kai-shek.
Time for something good to eat?
Not far away from National Taiwan Democracy Memorial Hall, there is the famous Din Tai Feng for hungry people!
Make sure you stop by the restaurant because not only the food in Din Tai Feng is in high demand for tourists but even the food is in high demand for Taiwanese people.
