Day 1 - Monday August 18, 2008
This place is a bit south of the Hong Kong Island. It stands on its own and you have to take quite a few steps to get to the island. Lots to to see, and it's very attractive for tourists. Overall, the site would take up about half a day, but I still think it was worth it especially if you dont go to HK that often. It really brings you closer to some of the culture.

The fishing village Tai O had some of the cities most authentic street markets. The history is incredible and everything looks simple. The life is very different from the city. When you think of roots, Tai O is definitely one place that comes to mind. Probably the most humbling experience I've had among the glamour of HK. They also give you a quick tour in one of their boats, and if the time is right you can watch the dolphins hunt.

Day 2 - Tuesday August 19, 2008
This was another tourist attraction and I saw many famous "stars" on the ground. It's similar to Los Angeles' Avenue of the Stars but China's version, even though Hong Kong folks still consider themselves apart from China. It was pretty cool though.

Yeah Bruce Lee!!

Two great martial artitsts in one day! Bruce Lee's hands.
Seriously, this was pretty amazing. The city skyline is composed of really tall buildings. Every night they come together to perform a light show to music. It's like Christmas everyday. The site is really beautiful and everyone should see it.

Daytime

And at night :) The lights go on and off and change colors. It's like as if the buildings were dancing.
